Privacy Policy

    How we handle your data.

We collect only what we need to run our business, never sell your data, and respect every right you have under POPIA, GDPR, and equivalent data-protection laws. Plain language below.

    01 — What we collect

    What we collect

We collect personal information when you contact us, book a discovery call, or browse our website:

    • ·Forms and inquiries — name, email, business name, current website, and the project description you submit through the brief form.
    • ·Booking calendar — name, email, and event details that Calendly stores when you book a discovery call.
    • ·Website analytics — anonymous traffic data via Google Analytics (pages visited, device type, referrer). No personally identifiable information is sent to Google.
    • ·Advertising cookies — when we run Meta retargeting campaigns, the Meta Pixel may set first-party cookies on your device.

We never collect more than we need to do business with you.

02 — Why we collect it

    Why we collect it

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and equivalent legislation worldwide, we are required to state a specific lawful purpose for every piece of data we hold. Ours:

    • ·To respond to your inquiry when you submit a contact brief or email us directly.
    • ·To deliver services to clients who have signed an engagement agreement.
    • ·To improve our website and offers through anonymous analytics.
    • ·To send relevant service updates to active clients. You can opt out of any non-essential email at any time.

We do not use personal data for any purpose we haven't named here.

03 — Tracking pixels and cookies

    Tracking pixels and cookies

This site uses three tracking technologies:

    • ·Google Analytics 4 — anonymous traffic statistics. We see aggregate behavior, not individual identities.
    • ·Meta Pixel (when active) — first-party cookies for retargeting visitors who engaged with our content on Facebook or Instagram.
    • ·Calendly — when you book a discovery call, Calendly sets cookies to maintain session state and detect your timezone.

You can disable cookies in your browser at any time. You can also opt out of Meta retargeting via Meta's Ad Preferences.

    04 — Third-party data sharing

    Third-party data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Ever.

We do share data with the infrastructure partners that make our business possible:

    • ·Netlify and Webflow — to host this website and the websites we build for clients.
    • ·Calendly — to schedule discovery calls.
    • ·n8n — to receive, route, and process your project briefs in our internal workflow systems.
    • ·Meta — only where ad accounts run retargeting campaigns, and only the data the Meta Pixel is configured to capture.

Each of these vendors processes data under their own data protection agreements. We hold them to the same standard we hold ourselves to.

    05 — Your rights

    Your rights

Under POPIA, GDPR, and similar laws, you have the right to:

    • ·Access the personal information we hold about you.
    • ·Update anything that is inaccurate or outdated.
    • ·Delete your data entirely.
    • ·Object to processing for marketing purposes.
    • ·Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we've mishandled your data.

To exercise any of these rights, email Lethabo@weblee.online with the subject "Privacy Request". We respond within five business days.

06 — Changes to this policy

    Changes to this policy
